Why is Mac so better than Windows?

While GUI was emerging in research at Xerox PARC, Apple first brought GUI into personal computers by introducing the computer Lisa. The GUI researchers who worked at Xerox PARC were also Apple employees. Microsoft just copied all the GUI stuff by saying we would like to work with Mac applications. Apple foolishly showed their prototype. Microsoft copied everything and invented Windows and started to sell their OS to Apple's main rival IBM. It was not the first time. Microsoft also purchased a license(legally stole) DOS from Seattle computers and sold it to IBM to make tons of money. How is this fair. Obviously BIll Gates and Paul Allen were not as smart as Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. Although the Mac OS is much better than Windows, many people prefer windows. Do you think it was fair for Microsoft (A company that developed by copying and stealing things) to be the richest company in the world and Gates being the richest guy.
