I am having a trouble making my payments, I called to ask if they would lower my minimum payment. They declined. And the kicker ... they decreased my credit limit by $10,000! It's a Bank of America Card. I've never been late and a loyal customer for 10 years. Should I skip my payment... or close the account completely and take the hit. Your thoughts please.

I mean Infamous part one is somehow not significant and gray colored and part two is opposite of it. Americans have declined in health on a steady scale since the advent of the television. Kids watch it more than playing outside, or they "sit" and play video games that might promote hand eye coordination, but nothing more. (I do think the Wii looks like a great idea, too pricey though). Adults have watched television in the evenings replacing sitting and talking or reading a good book. If you watch TV shows they are for the most part very unrealistic, and always have been. When I was growing up I really believed there were families like the Brady's. There had to be families that had no "real" problems, no struggles outside of will Marsha's nose keep her from going to the dance, and who didn't seem to have to even work to make ends meet. Maybe we have pushed so much of those lifestyles into our televisions and our homes that we think our families, as dysfunctional as they may be, are not normal. I believe dysfunction is normal. Our two dogs, one male, one female don't get along. What can we do?

Amstaff puppy plays too rough for my min pin?

We have a 3 month old amstaff puppy named Petey. He is a love but his play style with our 2 year old min pin is like play fighting. Petey always goes for the neck and does wrestling. My min pin doesn't like to play this way. He likes to play chase and keep away. However the min pin can't seem to shake Petey, so the min pin is forced to play this way back and he is showing his teeth more and I can tell it depresses him sometimes. I am just wondering if the amstaff will be good to our min pin and our kitty as he gets older? I hear they are dangerous dogs. I was hoping if we raise him right he will turn out to be a good boy. How do I stop my dog from soiling his crate??!!?

I have 3 dogs and recently I started walking them twice a day. We all need the excercise and one is a puppy so I wanted to teach him to walk on a leash. I have noticed that now, about 3 or 4 weeks since we started this routine they all seem to poop while walking. I think the excercise helps their bowels to move and I recommend 2 15-20 min walks per day. Once in the morning after breakfast and then in the evening after dinner.(We have a yard and I'd much rather they would go to bathroom at home, but the benefits of excercise for all of us is worth the inconvenience of picking up poop off the sidewalk.)

Dealing with Best Friend's Death?

My best friend whom I have known since I was 5 years old passed away at the age of 53 this week with melanoma cancer. The disease was found in the later stages and death was inevitable. For three years I watched as my friend's health slowly decline and it hurt because all I could do was stand by and watch. We went to the same grade school, high school, and we were both in the same college fraternity. My friend had many friends and was very popular. He was very successful and was always so happy, whether he was traveling all over the globe with his wife and two kids (5th and 2nd graders) or out partying with his friends. He always had a smile on his face. The realization of his death is still sinking in. I have been asked to give a 5-7 minute speech at his funeral tomorrow. I hope that I have the strength to prevent myself from breaking down in front of everyone. I don't know how to handle this situation because I have never lost anyone close to me until now. Although I have many friends, I had no truer and closer friend to me than him. No one, other than my wife, knew me better than him. ok, earlier today, we found a kitten that our cat had had.I would think it would be about 5 or 6 weeks old.We brought it inside and tried to feed it, but it just kept hissing at us.Also, the poor thing was shivering so much, i took it back outside to its mother.I put it back in the exact same place that i found it(in the bushes) thinking that my puppy(petey) couldn't get to it.It ran further into the bushes (where its mother was) and i thought everything would be ok.But, when my mom got off of work, she found the poor thing with its limbs spread out,on its stomach, with blood found at its mouth.It was also breathing very fast.She immediately brought it in the house, and laid it in a towel.At this moment, it is still breathing fast, but it appears to be trying to move.I know for a fact that petey had gotten to it,but i have no idea if it is bleeding internally or if the puppy just scratched it on the mouth!!!Also,it is not a possibility for us to go to the vet due to money values. At about 1600 one of my buddies came out to the plane that I was working on and got me. I changed clothes and walked out of the Hangar for the last time after 21+ yrs and went and drank beer. Normally when this happens you have to sort it out right there and then. The longer it is left the harder it is to sort out. Recently, my grandfather passed away. I went to Jamaica, where he lived to be at the funeral. And there at his house was a green parrot. I'm not sure the type. I just completed my freshman year of undergrad and ended the year with a 2.8 gpa (and an even lower science gpa around 2.4/2.5). I got C+'s in both Gen Chem I and II and a C- in a Honors Biology course which I retook and still only ended up with a B-. I'm usually pretty good at Biology but messed up the class really bad. I'm taking the 2nd Biology class right now along with Physics and have a solid A in Physics and an A- in Biology which I'm hoping to pull up to an A. I plan on taking many science/math courses next year including Organic Chemistry, the next Physics Course, Microbiology, Genetics, and Statistics and will probably take some other science courses next summer. I'm also involved in undergraduate research, vice president of a club, and a volunteer at a local hospital. I also take ballet lessons and have a part time summer job. I know I reallyyy screwed up my freshman year but do I still have a chance? I'm making some good connections with undergraduate research and volunteering for future med school recommendation letters and I plan on taking a lot of biology courses as well as stuff like astronomy, botany, etc. to pull up my science gpa but my question is even if i manage to get a 3.5 science gpa would med schools decline me because of the C+'s I got in Gen Chem and the mistakes i made freshman year? What if I pulled off an A-/B+ in Ochem. Is med school out of the question? I'm a Molecular Biology major and a public health minor (i plan on getting a masters in public health or mha if i don't get into med school)

Wow, interesting question. So much to consider. Bad timing, I will say. You did not say how long you would be gone. It is not a bad thing to buy another bird, but if you are not going to be there to hand train it yourself, or give it the comfort it needs, it may be harder for it to adjust while being alone in a cage.. Depending on how long your vacation is, it could be even more stressful for a very young parakeet. A young un-handled baby bird will be uneasy in a new environment and will need a LOT of attention and "reassurance". Hand training is vital at this young age. You may want to consider a slightly older adolescent as a new companion. This bird would be adjusted and more independent. It can do it's own thing and has already discovered itself. You mentioned some doubts about your sisters being attentive to the birds. Does this really concern you? Are you sure your sister can handle this to your expectations? Does she have experience with feeding or caring for Boo? If so, she can feed and water the other fine. I'm sure she is quite capable of taking care of your little friends. You need to remember, though, that the new one is being taken away from "its" comfort zone too. Even if older, it will need a LOT of special attention also. You can not be guaranteed that the two birds will get along right away, or who will be the dominant bird until acclimation. That would be up to them. The older one may find the younger one more of a bother rather than a new cage mate at first. There will be big difference in ages. That's why I suggest a slightly older bird, (four months or more). At least it can take care of itself better than a baby. I would say wait till you get home before you purchase a new one, but this is totally up to you. I am not a bird psychologist, so I'm not sure I can give you a good answer either way. Only you know your Boo bird. If he is fine without his mate and continues to eat and talk and be social with you or your sister, I don't see a problem with waiting. As long as your sister is willing to be attentive with him he should be fine. If you do get one, I don't see a problem with keeping them semi close by. A reputable shop will not knowingly sell you a sick bird, but acclimation can be tough in any new environment none the less. Make sure your choice is of one that sits tall and is not puffy or eyes closed when you stare at it. Another good choice is one that is munching on food and not getting picked on (or is picking on others). If it is hanging around the ground, I don't recommend it. If it is sitting in the middle of a group, this is also a good sign. It sometimes is better if you take some time to watch the group and pick the one that has the best personality with others. A quarantine is not bad advice, but you don't need them to be toooooooo far away from each other. They both need companionship and seeing each other will make them perkier. Only you can make this decision. We are not there to assess Boo's psyche for you. Others on this site may have better ideas. We are all here to help you. Also, please have a vet chosen to help your sister in case of an emergency. You should always be prepared for anything. I will let you decide what you want to do. Either way should be fine. Is prototype or infamous better?

Well while Prototype is a pretty awesome game, InFAMOUS is pretty amazing as well. The first one has some bugs that threw it off a little, but the second one is coming out really soon and it's pretty amazing. I got my hands on the demo, and it's greatly inproved. If I were you and didn't already use up you're two free games off PSN, I would get InFAMOUS and try it out, it definitely worth a go. Ok, I am in the summer before my senior year right now (17 years old) and for the past year and a half I have wanted to join the air force. Originally the Air Force Academy, but due to the low acceptance rate I am basing my decision on getting denied from that. So I have decided to enlist if I get declined and therefore been preparing. I took the ASVAB test a couple days ago and scored an 82 (High School GPA is 3.5 FYI). I want to go into Operations Intelligence (1N0X1). Now my recruiter has been calling me to come in and give him all the documents to sign me up for MEPS and then move into the Softbook Program until September and then move right into DEP 8 months before I would want to ship out! What I would prefer to do is wait to go to MEPS and move into DEP around November so I can be positive that this is what I want to do and that will still give me 6 months in the DEP program to try and receive a spot for my job. My question is do I really need to join DEP this early and what are the advantages?

How do I get a prototype made for my idea?

An idea is not sufficient. You need to have a design in order to get a prototype built. If I have an idea for an iphone that will read my mind and dial the person I'm thinking of there is no place I could go to get a prototype built. It's the working product that has value, not the idea.

Can I buy a toned down version of the game Prototype?

I heard in some countries like Australia they had to tone the game's violence down to be sold there...but I don't know for sure if it has been toned down or not and I can't find any information. I am ALLOWED to play violent, gory games, but I can't stomach it very well. I really love the way the game is, the story and Alex Mercer...but with the gore I cannot enjoy the game. If there is a toned down version this will help so much! (also please don't talk crap about this- if you do I'll thumb you down. )

Any cat behavior experts out there? I have some "kitty quirk" questions...?

I currently have 4 males, all related and ALL neutered. I have the daddy cat and 3 of his sons, all brothers, and they have been with me since they were born, even the daddy who is about 2 years old. The 3 brothers are a year old this month. One of the brothers, Petey, is a very needy and vocal fellow who seems to be a bit hypoglycemic. He cries a lot to eat and after I feed him he wants to be held. He will follow me around crying (sometimes he even vocalizes "mama" in his meows) and won't settle until he is cradled in my arms. The other 2 brothers are not as needy, but the largest cat, Moe, will come in and jump on my bed, get in my face and meow like he is talking to me...and will try to lie down in or on my face! The daddy cat, Boykittie, is also very vocal and also says "Mama" when he comes in at night. He will only lay down in my lap and purrs VERY loudly and does the kneading thing until I get up. Boykittie was the runt of a litter, born breach with a deformed leg and foot that healed itself. I did bottle feed him and hold him alot when he was a kitten so I know he thought I was his mom...I just didn't think he still felt that way? The boys were a litter of 5 and we did find homes for the 2 little girls but the boys ended up with us. I have never had cats (especially males) that acted this way before and they only do this stuff with me. Maybe someone can explain a little better and advise what, if anything, I should do. I love the fact that they are all affectionate but it gets to be a bit much...I have to lock my bedroom door at night or all 4 would crawl in with me. They don't fight, they all get along fine and play together for the most part. Thanks for reading this and answering, I love my guys and just want to understand them better.

Ok my brother is 19 years old and we have a place together. He has a job but his hours have declined alot. His past 2 jobs, his hours have went down and he cant afford to pay the bills as a result. He starts out with a good amount of hours but then it just goes downhill. He wakes up at like 2 oclock, gets on his computer and plays a game all day and all night. Goes to sleep at like 5 or 6 in the morning, then does the same thing all over again. He never comes out of his room, only to use the restroom or get something to eat/drink. He has no friends, and if he does, he met all of them online through this video game he plays. My family thinks there is something wrong with him but we dont know what it could be. Question about budgies bonding?

A few years ago I owned a few budgies. At one point I had 1 female, 2 males. Perdita (male), Rainbow (female) and Petey (male). Perdita and Rainbow bonded, but one day something happened and we lost Rainbow. Perdita didn't seem to care at all. We got another budgie, female again. Her name was Snowy (I know real original). She and Perdita bonded and they were really close. A few years later Snowy died because of egg binding, after that Perdita became seriously depressed. He had 2 other budgies to keep him company (we had added to our flock by then). I know I this might sound like I'm anthropomorphizing, but it definitely seemed to by depressed. The vet said nothing was physically wrong with him but he ate less, didn't play much and would just sit around. He no longer interacted with the other budgies. He soon passed away. My question is, if he was indeed depressed over Snowy's passing, why did he not care after he lost Rainbow, but became depressed when he lost Snowy? Both he had been "bonded" to when he lost them.

There is nothing wrong with that. They need to understand you're different and not everyone enjoys all that attention. The only thing that will probably convince them is the fact that you will probably always not want to, and they will finally get used to and except it.

How can I save my dog's life?

I have a 12 year old American Pitbull (13 in April) who started having seizures less than a year ago (the first one we noticed was on June 18, 2010 at my high school graduation party). The seizures started off where he would just collapse and be still for about 5 minutes. That only happened about 2 or 3 times. Then after christmas 2010 he started having grand mal seizures where he'll be doing normal activities or playing then he'll stop and lay down and be still for about a minute then starts convulsing then he'll end up urinating himself and when the convulsions are over he'll lay in the urine for about five minutes or so. Since christmas they have been getting more and more frequent, to the point where he's having them about once a week, and my parents made an appointment to put him down this wednesday, 3/30/11. Is there any way putting him on a raw food diet (not the one you buy pre-made but actually giving him an uncooked chicken carcass as opposed to his current commercial food) or anything like that could help him? its a waste of time for us to even TRY to put him on medication because he won't eat it, and even when we put it in the back of his mouth and try to make him swallow it, he still manages to hide it behind the trash can, and on top of it no one in my house would probably give it to him past day 3 (and i don't live there anymore). I don't want to lose Petey, he's my best friend, and he's pretty much my brother: we may as well have been born from the same mother. I really can't lose him. Is there anyway that I could tell my mom to try something that may help him and save his life? please help, i really can't stomach putting him down

How often should I visit my Godchild? Do I have to be involved in everything?

So I was asked by a second cousin to be a Godmother to her child when I was in college. I was not close with the mother so I was confused to begin with why she chose me, but I felt obligated to say yes to being the Godmother (which now, I know, I should have politely declined...but that's retrospect). So I saw the Godchild during a Holiday, then only once at the first birthday part and nothing since then (it's almost been a year since). ALso will be using chipped P28 obd1.what size injectors should I use? would using forged pistons that are close to stock comp ratio keep this build within safe limits for a DD (daily driver)? Thanks

There are still - at the moment anyway - more males than females in the world, due to countries where females are less valued. I don't expect what you say to have -that- much of an affect on gender levels, even in extreme cases it could only level the gender/population out.

I would start out with the acting classes and then moving on to community theatre, it is NEVER too late to start acting, or doing anything you feel that you were meant to do. Street Legal ATV's in production?

So, I know Arizona, Michigan, and my state Pennsylvania allow Street Legal ATV's. I saw that even some manufacturers are making street legal prototypes. I saw the Empero prototype and it looks bad ***. I know that here in Pennsylvania, DMV is waiting for manufacturers to produce the street legal ATV's. Seeing that they are being modded to be safer than your traditional crotch rockets and harley's, I can not wait to get a street legal ATV. So my question is, has anyone seen or heard of the websites that you can look into that will be producing these street legal ATV's other than the Empero?
